Nokia 5800 in Black and Silver

The Nokia 5800 is now available in black and silver. Originally available with blue or red lines and back cover, the Nokia 5800 now has a silver back cover and silver lines on the sides. Those who have been waiting for a black and silver Nokia 5800 should expect to pay around £249.00, the same price as the original Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

The Nokia 5800 comes with 3.2 inch 16M touch-screen, with a 640 x 360 pixels resolution. It also has an integrated hands-free speakerphone, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wireless LAN. Other impressive features include a Dedicated Media Bar touch key, which you can use to gain access to the gallery, your music and your web browser. There is also a 3.2 Megapixel camera, which offers a 3x digital zoom, dual LED flash and autofocus.

Battery life for the Nokia 5800 is good, with up to 8.8 hours of talk time and 35 hours for music playback. This lightweight phone also has a variety of organiser features, including a calendar, clock, phone book and even a Flight Mode option, which is ideal for those who travel often. Those who enjoy gaming will not be disappointed, as the Nokia 5800 offers a variety of Java games and users can also download games from the internet.

Unfortunately, the Nokia 5800 in black and silver does not offer any new features apart from the colour change, but for those who are looking for a neat and sophisticated design, it is the ideal choice.

  • I have one of these and wouldn’t swap it for the world
