The new Nokia N96 is the successor to the feature packed N95. Users will not be disappointed with the numerous features packed into this compact phone. This mobile phone from Nokia functions as a dual slider. If you slide the display down the user will reveal multimedia buttons like play and stop. If you slide the display up the standard keypad will be revealed.
The Nokia N96 is 103mm long by 55mm wide and is 18mm thick. The device weighs 125 grams. Battery life for the N96 is up to 3 hours and 40 minutes of talk time and 220 hours on standby.
Also included with the N96 is an internal 16 gigabytes of memory. Users will find that this is more than enough space to store hundreds of photos and even quite a bit of video. If this is not enough storage a microSD expansion slot is also included on the N96.
Also impressive is the 5 megapixel camera that is built into the Nokia N96. The camera has Carl Zeiss optics and is capable of capturing video. Other features of the camera include autofocus and flash. Video calling is made possible on the N96 though a second camera built into the device.
Users of the N96 will also notice that the device includes a motion sensor that will rotate the screen 90 degrees into a landscape view. The device also includes built in Wi-Fi that will add to the mobile phones usability. Support for 3G networks is provided.
