The HTC Touch 3G offers a black and silver theme that is ideal for those looking for an attractive and subtle design. There is also a blue theme available. The stylish HTC Touch 3G phone comes with 3G technology and Wi-Fi. It offers a good quality 2.8 inch screen and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Unfortunately, the HTC Touch 3G does not have an FM radio, but there are other music features. The quality of the camera pictures is reasonable, which is mainly due to the absence of a plastic cover on the camera. On the downside, the camera does not have flash.

Other great features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB. The phone offers the usual multimedia messaging service and there is also an email client and Java. Music playback is offered and supported files include MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC. The phone offers polyphonic and real music ringtones, vibrating alerts, voice dialling and voice recording. There are also a great selection of organiser features, such as a calendar and an alarm clock. The phone also has a GPS receiver, which is highly useful for travelling customers.

The phone has 256MB internal memory and offers memory expansion with a microSD memory card. The battery offers up to 400 minutes of talk time and 450 hours standby time. Charger and headphones are provided with the phone.

Users may be disappointed by the lack of an FM radio, but the HTC Touch 3G makes up for the absence with its selection of other great features and attractive design.

LG KG800 Review

The LG KG800 is an attractive mobile phone.  This device is designed as a slider and features a glossy finish which is available in a number of stylish colours.  The KG800 is slim and works great as both a digital music player and a camera.  Users will also enjoy downloading new games to play on this easy to use device.

The KG800 from LG is 95 mm long by 48 wide and it is 15.2 mm thick.  This mobile phone weighs an impressive 83 grams.  The display on the KG800 is two inches in size and supports 256K colours.  Battery life for this device is fairly decent.  With the included battery, users can expect up to 6 hours of talk time or 200 hours on standby.

Users will find a 1.3 megapixel camera integrated into the KG800.  An LED flash is provided which will improve the quality of pictures taken with the camera.  For additional fun, the camera is also capable of capturing video as well.  The KG800 is also capable of playing popular music file formats like MP3 and AAC.

LG KE800 Chocolate Platinum

The popular Chocolate series of mobile phones from LG has spawned another edition which is called the KE800 Chocolate Platinum.  The KE800 incorporates a number of the functions that users came to love in the original Chocolate devices and wrapped them in a very attractive package.

The Chocolate Platinum is 95 mm long by 46 mm wide and it is 17.5 mm thick.  This mobile phone weighs just 95 grams.  Users may be disappointed in the battery life of the KE800.  The battery that is included with this mobile phone only provides users around 2 hours and 30 minutes of talk time or 200 hours on standby.

This LG mobile phone functions as a slider.  It features a good sized display which supports up to 256K colours.  There is also a section on the bottom of this mobile phone which is sensitive to touch.  In this section there are buttons that show up depending on which function of the phone the user is operating. 

Integrated into the KE800 Chocolate Platinum is a 2 megapixel camera.  To make the camera more useful, LED flash and automatic focus has also been provided.  This camera is also able to capture video as well.  There is 60 megabytes of internal memory that users can take advantage of for picture storage.  This is also expandable by an additional one gigabyte through the microSD expansion slot.

Users can customize their Chocolate Platinum with wallpapers that can be downloaded and MP3 ringtones.  This device is also capable of photo calls through the contacts list.

Sony Ericsson Z750i

The Sony Ericsson Z750i is an attractive mobile phone that has a clamshell design.  The appearance of this phone is particularly impressive because it has a sleek mirrored finish.  On the outside of the clamshell is an OLED display that blends seamlessly right into the case.  When you open up the clamshell, you will see the primary display which is more than two inches in size and supports up to 256k colours.

The Z750i is 97.4 mm long by 49 mm wide by 20 mm thick.  This Sony Ericsson mobile phone weighs 110 grams.  Users can expect to get around 9 hours of talk time or 400 hours on standby.

The Sony Ericsson Z750i comes with two cameras built into it.  The main camera is 2 megapixels and has the capability to capture video.  The second camera is used for video calling.  There is 32 megabytes of memory built into this mobile phone but most will want to take advantage of the Memory Stick Micro expansion slot that is included with the device.

This mobile phone from Sony Ericsson can be used as a digital music player as well.  Support is provided for formats like MP3 and AAC.  Users will also be happy to know that the device includes a built in FM radio that supports RDS.  You can even use some of your MP3s as ringtones for the device.

Support for 3G networks has been included with the Z750i.  The device also is quad-band which will make it easier to travel with. 

Blackberry 8110 Pearl

The Blackberry 8110 Pearl is a fully functional smartphone which distinguishes itself because of its small size.  Today many of the smartphones that are available are bulky which makes them cumbersome to carry around.  The 8110 Pearl solves that problem for users.  If you love Blackberry mobile phones, you will certainly want to check this one out.

The Pearl is only 107 mm long but 50 mm wide and it is 14 mm thick.  This sleek device weighs just 91 grams.  Battery life for this device is not bad considering its small size.  Users can expect around 4 hours and 10 minutes of talk time or 360 hours on standby from the battery that comes packaged with the 8110 Pearl.

Along with a great media player, this mobile phone also has an organizer and document viewer to increase its usefulness.  Many people will also appreciate the hands free feature on this device as well.  Support for 3G networks has not been included.

Samsung M110 – built for the outdoors

The Samsung M110 is a heavy duty mobile phone which is great for any user that wants a device that they do not have to worry about breaking.  Despite its rugged design, the M110 is pretty compact which users will certainly appreciate.  It has a standard bar design and features a display which is slight bigger than 1.5 inches.

Integrated into the Samsung M110 is a VGA camera.  The quality might not be the best but it certainly is good enough to capture some fun photos.  Flash is also provided so that users can use the camera even when lighting is not optimal.

One unique feature about the Samsung M110 is that it can be used as a flashlight.  It is also durable enough to withstand splashing and dust will not interfere with its proper operation.  Users will also be happy to know that this mobile phone also comes in a range of colours as well.

There is only 2 megabytes of internal memory included with this mobile phone which users might find fills up quickly.  Unfortunately, the Samsung M110 does not have an expansion slot so users will have to keep an eye on their memory. 

Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot K850i

The Sony Ericsson K850i is a feature packed mobile phone that is a great choice for anyone looking for a device that has plenty of music and camera functionality.  Despite its many features, this Sony Ericsson mobile phone manages to stay relatively small.  The K850i also comes in a very attractive glossy finish but be prepared to see fingerprints all over it!

With the attached battery, the Sony Ericsson K850i weighs 118 grams.  The device is 102 mm long by 48 mm wide by 17 mm thick.  Users can expect to get up to 9 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby out of the battery that is included with the K850i.

Built into the Sony Ericsson K850i is a 5 megapixel Cybershot camera.  There is a xenon flash included with the camera so you can even take pictures in those poorly lit areas as well.  If you want to make sure you get the best picture possible, test out the BestPic mode which takes nine quick photographs and then you can pick the best in the bunch.  

To keep the mobile phone fun, the K850i also functions as a digital music player.  You can listen to music in popular formats such as MP3 and AAC.  If you want to know the name of a song that is playing you can use the TrackID program on the phone to identify it.  When you want to transfer music from your computer to your Sony Ericsson mobile phone you can use the intuitive software that comes packaged with the K850i to sync the devices together.

LG U970 Shine

The LG U970 Shine is a mobile phone that provides users with a great display which makes the device very easy to use.  The display is more than 2 inches in size and supports up to 256K colours.  The U970 Shine functions as a slider which keeps the mobile phone looking very stylish as the number pad is actually hidden within the device. 

The size of the LG U970 Shine is very compact.  It is 99.8 mm long by 50.6 mm wide and it is only 13.8 mm thick.  The overall weight of the Shine is 119 grams.  Battery life for this particular device is rather low.  From the included battery, users can expect up to 3 hours of talk time or 280 hours on standby.

This LG mobile phone is great because it has not one, but two cameras integrated inside of it.  The main camera is 2 megapixels and has features like flash and auto focus to ensure your pictures look great.  This camera will also capture video clips as well.  The second camera can be found on the front side of the mobile phone and is used for video calling.

Users will also be able to enjoy listening to music on the LG U970 as well.  Several popular music formats are supported like MP3 and AAC++.

One disadvantage of the Shine is that it only has one proprietary USB port.  This means that if you want to listen to the headphones you can’t charge your phone at the same time as both devices use the same port.
