The Motorola Flipout handset is a great, novel design and is part flip-phone and part slider. It is square in shape with a five line QWERTY keypad. This keypad means that the numbers are on a separate line, which is ideal. The Flipout will be released with Android 2.1 and will be fully Flash enabled. It has seven home screens that can be customised with favourite apps and live wallpapers, and as well as the QWERTY keypad it also has a multi touch screen.
The Motorola Flipout comes with Quad band coverage and gives you up to six hours talk time and up to 365 hours standby time. There is a built in camera, video camera and video player, along with FM radio and audio player with that all-important 3.5 mm headphone jack. The internal memory on this phone is 512MB and it comes with GPRS, GPS and 3G capability. There is also an email facility on this phone along with the touch-screen and browser. There are many more features to the Flipout, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
This mobile phone is great and with the square shape it makes it even handier to carry around. The idea of having a touch-screen and the QWERTY keyboard is ideal for all users. The browser and Wi-Fi function means that it is simple to use away from the home and office. It also features the enhanced version of Motorola’s social networking programme Motoblur, so all the networks are in one place. This is great for keeping in contact with all your networking buddies.
